FOOD DRIVE
On the 4th weekend of the month, we collect food staples, cash, scrip, and coupons to help families in our sister parish St. Lawrence of Brindisi, the Downtown Women's Shelter and other sites feeding those in need.
A different parish ministry sponsors each monthly drive, from staffing the tables before and after all Weekend Masses to delivering the food on Sunday morning after the 9:45am Mass. Food staples requested are:
- Cereal, Oatmeal, Instant oatmeal
- Peanut butter / Jam
- 1-lb. bags of rice
- 1-lb. bags of beans
- Mac 'n' cheese
- Instant mashed potato mix
- Spaghetti / Pasta, Spaghetti sauce
- Canned meats
- Canned fruit
- Soup
- Tuna
Your Sunday newspaper inserts and coupons can also help our friends at St. Lawrence save hundreds of dollars each week on purchases. Bring the coupons you receive in the mail or newspaper to the Food Drive table or to the Welcome Center during the week.
